Mr. Bhumesh Verma
Mr. Bhumesh is the Managing Partner of Corp Comm Legal, an independent Indian law firm headquartered in New Delhi.Having started his career at Ajay Bahl & Co. (now part of AZB & Partners), Bhumesh went on to work with some of the best law firms in India. He received the coveted Chevening Scholarship by the UK Government in 2000 whereunder he studied in College of Law, York and was a visiting lawyer with Ashursts’ London office. Later in his career, he became partner at some of the leading Indian law firms including Khaitan & Co., Paras Kuhad & Associates and Link Legal.
His primary expertise areas are advising domestic and foreign clients on inbound and outbound Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Foreign Investments, Joint Ventures, Technology Transfers, External Commercial Borrowings, Corporate Structuring, Strategic Advice, Entry Strategy for foreign investors, Regulatory Approvals, Corporate Advisory, Due Diligence, Negotiation, Documentation for transactions (from MOU/LOI to Definitive Agreements and post-closing) and related legal fields. Despite his hectic schedule, Bhumesh is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with the fraternity. An avid reader, much sought-after speaker and prolific writer, he started with contributing to in-house journals of many international law firms on Indian laws.
Bhumesh has more than 300 published articles to his credit including those on LinkedIn, IBLJ, Business World, scconline.com and many more legal and business websites. These articles are very keenly followed and appreciated by professionals, students and academia alike. Bhumesh is regularly invited as a guest faculty by several law and management institutes in and outside of India, online legal education portals and for judging moot courts. He also conducts workshops and training sessions (on invite) for students and professionals on contracts drafting, negotiation and corporate laws skills.
Mr. Bhumesh has authored 2 books on Commercial Contracts Drafting so far and aspires to write a book every year on a different corporate law subject. He is also known and appreciated for his business acumen and solution centric approach by clients and even opposing counsel.

Shri Sadashiv Deshmukh
Mr. Deshmukh is the Vice Chancellor of National Law University, Mumbai and former judge of the Thane Court. He started his career practising as an Advocate at the Kolhapur Court, Maharashtra Co-operative Tribunal, Divisional Commissioner at Pune. He then went on to join as a Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate First Class. He has also worked as Judge in the City Civil and Sessions Court, Greater Bombay. He worked as Registrar Personnel at Bombay High Court till March 2017. Thereafter, he has worked as a Member of Maharashtra State Sales Tax Tribunal and also as Chairperson, Consumer Grievance Redressal (Electricity) at Kalyan. He is a member of Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority’s High Court Panel of Arbitrators.
Mr. Kaushal Kumar Sharma
Mr. Sharma heads KK Sharma Law Offices dealing in Competition law, Tax, Enforcement & Investigation, Governance, Regulation & Risk, Public Affairs & Policy and having its counsels stationed in Brasilia, Delhi, Ottawa, UAE, Brussels, Netherlands and Washington DC, He was the first Director General of functional Competition Commission of India (CCI). His initial clients include Fortune 500 companies, International Business Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Sovereign Governments. During his career, of more than two decades, inter alia, as a Commissioner in IRS of India, Mr. Sharma brought into tax net more than $ One Billion in one single investigation. He was nominated as one of the individual members of the Research Project Partnership (RPP) Platform of UNCTAD. A Ph.D. fellow in competition law from Bangor University, UK, he did masters in engineering from IIT, Roorkee, before doing graduation in law. Later, he completed PG Diplomas in Economics for Competition Law from King’s College, London, and IPR Laws from NLSU, Bangalore, respectively after doing Masters in Economics.
Professor Bhavani Prasad Panda
Prof. Bhavani Prasad Panda is the Ex Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. He graduated in LL.B from Lingaraj Law College, Berhampur, Orissa in 1979. Thereafter he went on to pursue higher studies in different disciplines of law.
Prior to his present designation Prof. BP Panda has held 16 other educational seats in various law institutes of India. He found his place as the Principal of NBM Law College, Professor of WBNUJS, Principal of Lingaraj Law College, Dean, Faculty of Legal Studies (BU), Chairman, Board of Studies Law, BU among others. He has numerous publications and has been an active member of different academic, executive and financial councils of various institutions
Dr. Anil G Variath
Dr. Anil G. Variath is The Dean of Amity University Mumbai, a great visionary, who has done extensive research in Banking and Corporate Laws and has been enriched with a Doctorate in Banking Law. He is a rare blend of Legal practice, corporate Legal exposure and academic Legal flavour. In the Academic front he has headed the Law School, SNDT Women`s University, Mumbai, Asmita Law College and Sandesh College of Law, Mumbai as its Principal. He is one of the architect of the concept of Legal Auditing. He is also member of various Professional & Academic bodies.
Dr. Anil G. Variath has attended more than 60 National & International Conferences and has been a speaker on Corporate & Banking Laws in these seminars and has presented his research papers on the allied field.
Mahua Roy Chowdhary
MAHUA ROY CHOWDHURY is the founder and Principal Partner of ROYZZ & CO. and has more than 20 years of experience in the legal industry.
She started her career as a litigator at the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India. She has proactively initiated several landmark Public Interest Litigations against the Indian army, Delhi Police and Delhi Municipal Commission. She has also represented the Faculty of Law, Delhi University before the High Court.
Mahua has successfully litigated matters relating to employment laws, decisions of Government bodies, information technology, extradition, intellectual property rights and their infringement at various courts in India. Further, she has resolved several complex software-infringement related disputes and contractual disputes such as joint ventures, licensing, media content creation, etc.
Despite being a litigator, Mahua strongly believes in resolving disputes and adopting litigation as the last resort.
She has hands-on experiencein anti-counterfeiting actions and has executed more than 450 Intellectual Property enforcement raids all over India with help of the Police and investigations agencies.
She represents numerous Indian and International clients, premier engineering institutes and universities. She has also been a part of many cross border licensing and technology transfer agreements and resolved several disputers therein.

Prof. Rahul Sakpal
Dr. Rahul Suresh Sapkal is an Assistant Professor of Economics. He holds a PhD Degree in Law and Economics from European Doctorate Program in Law and Economics (Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands, University of Bologna, Italy and University of Hamburg, Germany). Dr. Sapkal has worked as a researcher with CORD-UNICEF, the International Labour Organization, New Delhi, and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Dr. Sapkal is widely published and a referee to various international economic journals of repute.

Raja Reeshav Roy is a third year B.A. LLB. student currently studying at National Law University, Jodhpur. He has completed his schooling from Delhi Public School R.K. Puram. He has a keen interest in the field of constitution and criminal law and is an avid reader with an interest in writing. He has been an active member of legal aid and awareness committee, National Law University Jodhpur for past two and half years and has a great zeal to work in the field of Human Rights.
Miss Karolina Makuch
Karolina is in her Third year studying Law at King’s College, London. She is currently working on a few projects, including being a Student Consultant with 180 Degrees Consulting, a legal advisor for the King’s Legal Clinic and Advising Communities, and a Student Editor for the Network of International Law Students.
She spent her formative years in Lublin, Poland, where she learnt how to ski, horse ride and found a love for the outdoors. She is an active member of the KCL Blockchain society’s Government and Legal division and enjoys to read about technological innovations in the legal sphere as well as finance and the ethics community. She is looking to go into the corporate law sector after graduation and is interested in joining an American firm for her vacation scheme and training contract.
Miss Sunidhi Pubreja
Sunidhi is a final year student at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. She is the Managing Editor of RGNUL Financial & Mercantile Law Review. She is also the Research Assistant in the Editorial Board of Official Reporter of National Company Law Tribunal. Along with the law graduation, she is pursuing CS Programme and has cleared Executive Course. She had been part of Editorial Team for RGNUL Student Law Review, Special edition on Trade and Investment Law. During her law school she has been actively participating in various Moot Court Competitions and has won the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Moot Competition 2017 organised by National Law University, Delhi.

Ritisha Gupta is 3rd year student in Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur. Research writing is a passionate field for her that she wants to pursue and grow with, and she wants to help other students by guiding them through the same. She has written and co authored several research articles. Miss Sara Jain
Mr. Sparsh Gupta is an LL.M and his practice emphasizes the litigation that pertains to civil , criminal and specially contractual law revolving around real estate and other sectors. He is currently practicing in High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh and Supreme Court of India and also looks after matters in CBI Courts of Haryana, Punjab and U T Chandigarh. He is also a pro bono lawyer empanelled with Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. He is empanelled with various NGOs all over India and guide them and contribute with them for the social work. He has recently authored a text book titled ‘A Commentary on the Indian Contract Act’, which has proved to be a very knowledgeable material for lawyers, jurists, corporate intellectuals, law students and also for laymen. Being a real proponent of women empowerment, he has authored a book on ‘Cruelty Against Women’ involving real time issues of dowry , cruelty etc. He is a proficient speaker in motivational ideologies and encouraging people to adapt to time management for better results.

Swapnil is in his fourth year studying Law at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. He has a lot of organisational experience. He has been the International board editor for NILS publications and International Journal of Constitutional Studies. He has participated in prestigious Moots like Jindal Technology Law and International Criminal Court Moot Competition of which he has been the quarter-finalist.
